Who’ll Stop the Rain?

The rain was at it’s lightest when I started my run this morning. The rain and the wind picked up as I neared the incline at the 2.4 mile marker. It was still pretty light when I finished my run at 0605.

It’s a full-on thunderstorm now, two hours later.

The weather sucks right now, and I have the mood to match it. I wanted to take a quick nap after the run and forgot to set my alarm. Now it’s looking like a 9 to 5 day. Don’t really feel like going to work today, but I guess it’s time for me to go into “professional mode” (doing it no matter how bad I feel).

Doesn’t help that my “forever brakes” are on their last legs. It’s only a ten minute commute, plus another round trip for lunch, but between the weather and my brakes…man, it’s gonna be a long day.

Take it away, Mr Fogarty…
